Strength

On a 20:00 clock, build up to a heavy 3-rep snatch.

I built up 65, 95, 115, 125, 135, 145. Pretty happy with hitting 145# since my 1RM is 155.

Metcon

Isabel – 30 snatches for time.

Time: 3:37 (115#)

Power snatched each rep and tried to stick with one rep every 7 seconds. PR by 6 seconds!

Build up to a heavy set of 3 on deadlift.

I worked up 135, 225, 275, 315, 335, 355, 375.

Metcon

30-20-10 reps for time of:

  • Deadlift (245)
  • T2B

*50 Double Unders after each round.

Time: 9:59

I went 11/10/5/4 on the first set of deadlifts and then 8/8/7/7 on the T2B. Staying conservative definitely helped because the round of 20 and 10 felt really manageable in two sets each.
