Got in two workouts today because they were both pretty short.

12 min EMOM:

  • 2 Wall Walks
  • 6 T2B
  • 18 Double Unders

This was a challenging amount of work to get done in a minute! I made it 7 rounds. Took the 8th round off. And, finished minutes 9-12. The wall walks were particularly challenging.

5 rounds for time:

  • 10 Renegade Rows (35#)
  • 15 Box Jumps (24″)

Time: 9:43

Did all the push-up + renegade rows in sets of 6/4.

Didn’t get out into the garage until around 2:45PM today due to some kid activities and a virtual retreat at work. I guess that’s the benefit of having a garage gym though! I can get out whenever is convenient for me.

My left knee is a bit achy from attempting those 1 1/2 front squats yesterday – something about those didn’t sit well at all! My quads are a bit sore as well.

I warmed up really thoroughly and attempted some box jumps. Knee wasn’t feeling 100%, but it was a very mild nag that I thought might get better with time during the workout. I was right! Didn’t bother me much at all. Hoping it’s better tomorrow.

15 min AMRAP:

  • 5 Renegade Row (Push-up + Row Left + Row Right) 50# DBs
  • 10 Box Jump Overs (24″)
  • 15 DB Deadlifts (50# DBs)

Result: 9 rounds

I was at 3:00 when I finished two rounds and basically maintained that exact pace the entire workout. Felt challenging but also very well-paced.
