20.4!

For time:

30 box jumps
15 clean and jerks, 65 | 95 lb.
30 box jumps
15 clean and jerks, 85 | 135 lb.
30 box jumps
10 clean and jerks, 115 | 185 lb.
30 single-leg squats
10 clean and jerks, 145 | 225 lb.
30 single-leg squats
5 clean and jerks, 175 | 275 lb.
30 single-leg squats
5 clean and jerks, 205 | 315 lb.

Result: 160 reps Rx. Got to the 225# bar, but couldn’t make it happen. Tiebreak time was 18:05.

Snow day! Joined the 8AM class for the workout before doing 20.3.

For time:

  • 1000m Row
  • 100 Double Unders
  • 750m Row
  • 75 Double Unders
  • 500m Row
  • 50 Double Unders

Time: 13:07 Rx

I kept the row pace around 2:00/500m and only messed up 5x total on the double unders.

Next, I did 20.3:

For time:

21-15-9 reps of:
Deadlifts (225/155)
Handstand push-ups

Then,
21-15-9 reps of:
Deadlifts (315/205)
50-ft. handstand walk after each set

Time cap: 9 min

I made it through the deadlifts unbroken in 33 seconds and then did 14 total HSPU for a score of 35. That darn standard is tough!

CrossFit Open 20.1! Pretty simple and straightforward:

10 rounds for time of:

8 ground-to-overheads (95/65)
10 bar-facing burpees

I opted for clean and jerks instead of snatches. The first two rounds were unbroken. Then, I did some sets of 4/4 and moved to quick singles around round 5.

I got through 8 rounds + 6 burpees (158 reps Rx). A LOT tougher than it looked!
